Endress+Hauser Gateways & Modems give fast, simple access to field device and network data. They bridge HART, PROFIBUS, Modbus, IO‑Link, WirelessHART, Bluetooth® and Ethernet so teams can configure, diagnose, and collect measurements without disrupting control. Offers span edge connectivity for Netilion IIoT, plant‑level gateways with integrated web servers, and intrinsically safe USB modems for safe laptop/handheld commissioning.

The portfolio includes: Commubox FXA195, the world’s only intrinsically safe USB/HART modem; Commubox FXA291, an intrinsically safe CDI‑to‑USB interface for “Smart” transmitters; FieldPort SFP20, a USB modem for configuring IO‑Link devices from any vendor; FieldPort SWA50, a loop‑powered adapter that converts HART to encrypted Bluetooth® and/or WirelessHART; Fieldgate SFG500, an Ethernet/PROFIBUS gateway with integrated web server and NE107‑based asset monitoring; FieldGate SWG50, a compact WirelessHART gateway (up to 100 devices) with Modbus TCP/HART‑IP to higher systems; and Fieldgate FXA42, a remote monitoring gateway with 4× analog, 4× digital I/O plus Modbus TCP/RS‑485. For cloud, FieldEdge SGC500 connects plant devices securely to the Netilion platform.

E+H gateways & modems offer quicker commissioning and safer access. Modems let technicians parameterize devices from the control room or anywhere in the current loop, while gateways provide parallel access to fieldbuses without touching the DCS. Integrated web servers visualize status, log events and email alarms; WirelessHART/Bluetooth® adapters bring brownfield assets online; and Netilion connectivity uses encrypted HTTPS to enable remote verification, analytics and fleet health.

Typical applications include tank/inventory monitoring via FXA42 and SupplyCare; brownfield networking with SWA50 adapters and SWG50 gateways; PROFIBUS asset diagnostics and device status trending using SFG500; fast IO‑Link commissioning with SFP20; and cloud visibility for installed bases using SGC500 and Netilion Services. These tools are used broadly in Chemical, Oil & Gas/Marine, Food & Beverage, Water & Wastewater, Mining & Metals, Pulp & Paper, and Power & Energy where reliable access, configuration, and data acquisition matter.
