RB223 Passive Barrier

Brand: Endress+Hauser
Fundamental Fundamental

The RB223 passive barrier can be used to galvanically isolate active signal circuits (0 to 20 mA) in three applications: Transmission from non-Ex to Ex areas e.g for active adjusters, controllers or indicators, Transmission from Ex to non-Ex areas for connection of active, intrinsically safe circuits to the PLC, Transmission from Ex to non-Ex areas for supply of intrinsically safe transmitters with non-intrinsically safe transmitter power supply.

Separation of active 0/4 to 20 mA signals from transmitters, valves and adjusters

Features
  • Compact side-by-side housing for DIN rail
  • Space-saving one-channel and two-channel version
  • No power supply necessary
  • International Ex approvals; Can be used up to SIL 3
  • Bidirectional HART® transmission
  • Communication sockets for HART® + integrated HART® resistor for sensor configuration
