Hydrostatic Level
Continuous level measurement in liquid applications with pressure sensors.

Hydrostatic Level Measurement
Endress+Hauser hydrostatic level instruments use the liquid’s head pressure to deliver continuous level. Pressure sensors translate hydrostatic pressure into level or volume. The range spans Deltapilot transmitters and Waterpilot submersible probes for tanks and wells, mounted submerged or externally.
Contite measuring cells shield the sensor and electronics from moisture and condensation by hermetically sealing the element between membranes; oil‑free ceramic cells are available for demanding process and environmental duties. Devices connect via 4–20 mA, HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1, PROFIBUS PA and IO‑Link.
Hydrostatic level is a simple, rugged principle well suited to tank inventory, wells, and similar liquid applications. It’s widely used across water & wastewater, chemical, food & beverage, life sciences, oil & gas/marine, mining, pulp & paper, and power & energy.
Seven fit‑for‑purpose instruments, organized by Endress+Hauser’s FLEX selections, let you match basic, core, or advanced functionality to each application and standardize on one platform. From freshwater probes to high‑performance transmitters, selection, installation and operation are straightforward.
